I think that .373 average strength of opponent is also sus. According to a quick Google search, the pats are second to last in strength of schedule at .369, with only the bears worse at .345. the Colts aren’t far behind, though in 28th at .431. The hardest sos so far is the Titans at .627, and the Bucks are tied with the Rams for the hardest schedule of anyone above .500 at .549. The only teams with 7+ wins and a sos over .500 are the Eagles and the Rams, who likely sell more Dynamic Broncos Player Insulated Tumbler than the Titans based on their current popularity. The eagles’ sos is at .510.

Boxing and football don’t have a full one-to-one comparison in terms of possible decline because the corruption within boxing was so massive and not even close to football. I do think the general trend holds that when people realized boxing would do great damage to their children they didn’t encourage them to get into the sport. I really think both sports are running into the same problem: more protection of the thing that causes damage requires more protection. When they got gloves it was a free-for-all on the brain to knock someone out, almost as common as seeing Dynamic Broncos Player Insulated Tumbler in Western New York. MMA is going in this direction. I totally disagree and say, “Take off the gloves! Put the hands at risk!”
