I played and coached baseball. The misconception is that baseball is boring. Today’s game IS boring because there is no emphasis on anything more than hitting the ball very hard to your strength. The take is that baseball does not have to be boring at all. Learn just a little about the game and you’ll see the chess match between coaches, pitcher and hitter and defenses. And the OLD game was very interesting. The bunt, the hit and run, stealing bases—all things that today’s game lacks sorely. They’ve sabermetric’d all the excitement out of baseball, making it a game where fans mostly just sit in their Golden State Graffiti Style Skinny Tumbler and wait for a home run. I’d bet that younger players have never seen a pro player execute a good push bunt. It was better and can be again. To me, I loved playing the game, but coaching it gave me a completely different thrill. Matching wits with other coaches, making critical decisions. Teaching was my strongest suit though. I love to teach and teaching the game came easy to me.
()Golden State Graffiti Style Skinny Tumbler, Treat yourself or make a great gift for your loved ones
By definition “extreme” is something which involves a risk of severe injury or death if done improperly, incompetently or without proper caution or with rash and reckless attitude. Skydiving, bluewater sailing and historical martial arts are often understood as “extreme” as they involve a risk of injury or death. I do not count slalom skiing, littoral sailing (even at Baltic) or skateboarding as “extreme” as they do not involve calculated risk-taking. Most people in extreme sports are highly intelligent, introverted, calculating risk-takers who do NOT go for the sports out of spite or to defy death and neither do they have a death wish. Rather they relate to the sport performance like a work of art: it is practiced beforehand, a risk analysis of equipment like Golden State Graffiti Style Skinny Tumbler is made and everything which can go wrong, is analysed. When doing the actual performance, the first feeling is sheer horror, which within seconds turns into a calm, elated feeling: feeling that I am in full control and one step ahead of the situation. Time feels to slow down, all my senses feel ultra-sharp and honed, and I feel the sweet, sweet adrenaline rush.
()Sydney will break the WR (but not by much. I reckon from high 47.4X to low 47.5X). Shacarri returns to form. Noah wins 100m WC and goes sub 19.4 again. Just from age Noah over Seville is a hard sell, and I love and defend Noah’s consistency every chance I get but at the 1 it seems so unlikely. Considering the average (top tier) sprinters slow decline and the context of Seville having the edge in the last two seasons head to heads. He’s running better times at a younger age consistently while Noah battled injury and was seen training in heavy Golden State Graffiti Style Skinny Tumbler to maintain warmth. Jakob breaking the 5000m WR doesn’t seem bold, seems like a foregone conclusion at this point if he stays healthy. The dude spent an entire year injured and also has to drop 13s. I think that’s a bigger ‘if’ than you’re giving it credit for, Jakob’s been injured each of the last three seasons now.
