The US not co-hosting the 2026 FIFA World Cup is extremely unlikely, mostly because it is impossible to really make major changes so late in the game (i.e. when the tournament is fully scheduled)! That obviously doesn’t mean that the US breaking their commitments to allow free access to the fans from all participating countries will not turn into a major distraction to the tournament, and an enormous loss in reputation and revenue for the country (and even worst, for FIFA). The free access is one of the main issues for a tournament to be awarded to one or several countries. And so far even the most repressive countries had honored that commitment. With the absolute exclusion of fans from at least four participating countries (Iran, Haiti, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal), and the difficulties to be expected for the fans of many other participating countries, the current regime has done the country and Manchester United Est 1878 Glory Glory Red & Gold Luxury Tumbler (1) about the worst service it could have done. I hope that the administration will be smart enough to not show up to any of the games, certainly not the final.

The Jacksonville Jaguars gave four draft picks – including a first-rounder in 2026 – to move up three spots to select Travis Hunter second overall. Did they give up too much to get him? IMHO, Yes. First of all, I am dead set against ‘two way’ players. If you have a WR/CB it only takes one injury to really screw both sides of the ball. It’s bad enough to be without a top receiver, but you go from ‘next man up’ to also being without a key defender. If he doesn’t start and perform at both roles then he is clearly not worth such a move. Given hindsight, his 7 games, 28 catches for 298 yards and 1 TD is anemic production for a high draft pick. Ricky Pearsall had a more productive rookie year and he was shot. Two-way players are a problem. Take the PK/P Buffalo drafted last year. It only takes a hamstring pull and wham, you’re out both positions and you have to bring in at least 2 Manchester United Est 1878 Glory Glory Red & Gold Luxury Tumbler (1). The exception are guys who come in, dominate in one role and take on a second, but as a backup. Deion, for example, was largely a CB who spent some time at WR.
(Manchester United Est 1878 Glory Glory Red & Gold Luxury Tumbler (1))You might notice that it is 2026. Matches start in less than five months. And contracts have been signed. So, so many contracts. Partial payments have been made. I seriously doubt that those contracts have escape clauses that trigger at anything short of outright war. So would it increase costs? Yes. It would dramatically increase costs, and likely land FIFA in a decade of ongoing lawsuits. Could Australia and New Zealand step up? Do you imagine that there are massive numbers of stadiums and hotels, etc., of the appropriate size that are sitting fallow? Could you move those other events? Sure at the cost of more money. There are a few “realistic” options: a boycott, a cancellation, or a postponement. All of these will cost FIFA massively, too. It takes considerable time to prepare for the hosting of a major sporting event like the World Cup or the Olympics. I would say the last window of opportunity to alter Manchester United Est 1878 Glory Glory Red & Gold Luxury Tumbler (1) was in late 2023 or early 2024 at the very latest. To do so at just a few months notice is almost entirely impractical and financially ruinous for all parties involved.
