Most people in extreme sports are highly intelligent, introverted, calculating risk-takers who do NOT go for the sports out of spite or to defy death and neither do they have a death wish. To me, I loved playing the game, but coaching it gave me a completely different thrill. Matching wits with other coaches, making critical decisions in the heat of the moment was exhilarating.
