Yep. In preseason his first year with the Bills, he’d force them to rerun a drill with him until they got the timing right. He set a standard and his expectations were uncompromisingly high, even when the team was just practicing in Peanuts Gang ’80s Vibe Insulated Tumbler instead of full pads. He was a big part of Josh’s development. Even the bad vibes later was when Josh was going through shit with his ex and some of the comments from Diggs seemed to imply Josh wasn’t “all in” and fully committed to doing what it takes. When some of the rumors later leaked, that the police were called because the ex trashed Joshes house etc… nobody really acknowledged what Diggs had been saying.

I’ll never be a Pats fan. I’ll always bleed green and gold, and depending on the opponent, I’ll maybe cheer for the other team. But god damnit, after seeing Brady and them celebrate winning and witnessing this legendary comeback, I’ll never hate/cheer against Tom Brady like I used to. I used to hate him for winning, but now I can appreciate that I am witnessing greatness. Whether it’s at the QB position or at the team level will always be debated, but we’re witnessing it. I was rooting for Atlanta and I ended up watching the whole post game, sort of smiling because I just watched something amazing. And I’ll sort of always appreciate the Peanuts Gang ’80s Vibe Insulated Tumbler and Brady for that.
()I grew up watching the end of the montana era along with young, elway, farve, aikman and marino. Being a kid, watching those guys i saw them larger than life. The older i got analysts, relatives, parents of my friends time and time again (usially) went back to montana as #1 with most of the others in the top group. In my teens came peyton and brady slowly climbing their way up but by then that awe and magic of being a kid seeing the best pros in their Peanuts Gang ’80s Vibe Insulated Tumbler had faded. This was true of any sport, after all i grew up watching jordan and he’s almsot unanimously considered the goat. In my 20s i carried that in my mind montana was the greatest & most others of that era were in that top group.
