I can only say why I watch F1, but for me it’s because (Behind NASA) it’s pretty much the pinnacle of engineering and speed. The world’s biggest and best car manufacturers (Ferrari, Mercedes, Renault, Lotus etc.) hire the world’s best racing drivers and engineers to do one thing: go round a track as fast as they possibly can. If you like racing then it doesn’t get any better.
